R2-D2 STAR WARS DROID - 2018-2022 (update 18 juli '22)
Januari 2018, gestart met het bouwen van R2D2, de bekende robot uit de film STAR WARS! Daar gaan wel wat uurtjes en materiaal in zitten, de robot is voor mijn eenna jongste zoon.
Materiaal wat ik heb gebruikt is voornamelijk MDF, hout, Styreenplaten (kunststof) en Aluminium voor de body.
Afh. van de kosten word R2 nog bestuurbaar, voorlopig wordt het een staand model met een muziek box erin verwerkt

January 2018, started building R2D2, the famous robot from the movie STAR WARS! It does take a few hours and material, the robot becomes my youngest son.
Material I used is mainly MDF, wood, Styrene sheets (plastic) and Aluminum for the body. nothing is 3D printed, I made everything from scratch and by hand!
Dep. of the costs R2 is still controllable, for the time being it is a standing model with a music box incorporated
